Drink Red Creative was launched in 2002 by me, Kelly Hanna. Having lived several years in Europe as a child and traveling the globe as a young adult, it was almost natural that I ended up in the creative world with a penchant for fashion, the arts, and photography. I love big cities, and after a stint in New York, I decided sunshine was more my thing, and so landed in Los Angeles some fifteen years ago. I originally set out to be a fashion photographer (after abandoning my dream of professional chocolate-tasting), and was advised by an art director to take a course in graphic design to develop "my photographic eye". I never looked back. An internship quickly led to a position as associate art director at Men’s Fitness Magazine, and soon a headhunter connected me with a competing company to launch a number of trade magazines. After six years art directing / designing / photo editing in the publishing world, I was ready for the next step. So in 2002, I took the leap and started my own company. Over the last 8 years, I've been fortunate to design for an eclectic group of clients, from 20th Century Fox to Anna Beck Jewelry Designs, collaborating with other freelance artists when the project dictates. I adore my clients and look forward to each project with energy and excitement. Perhaps one day I will have to give it all up to lend my taste buds to Godiva...
